Do You Have Frozen Metabolism Syndrome?

1 December 2009 No Comment
Are you experiencing SLOW weight loss after busting your butt at the gym?
Or maybe you are eating all the foods ˜they’ tell you to eat and still no weight loss. What’s up with this?
You may be suffering from Frozen Metabolism Syndrome. Side-effects may include any of the following: no weight loss even after exercising for 8 months in the gym, a severe frustration at people who think you’re a couch potato, chronic fatigue, low tolerance and the need to apply stranglization therapy to skinny people who can eat whatever they want and never gain an ounce..

I finally have a good description of most weight loss programs being promoted:

More hype to get you to do the wrong things for the wrong problem harder.

It’s one of those I know what to do, but I just don’t do it mentality, so I’ll get a personal coach to keep my hyped. And maybe it’s good for my heart or maybe I would be worse off if I did nothing.

Well ¦..When you solve the wrong problem with the wrong solution, it sure takes a tremendous amount of energy to keep yourself motivated but eventually you will quit.

Why is it so hard to lose weight?

The first thing to know is that your problem is NOT your weight it’s your health. This is despite your doctor telling you everything is normal on your blood test, so no diseases = healthy body . The truth is, more health = slim body, sound sleep, excellent energy and no cravings. The worst thing to do when you are gaining weight is decreasing your calories. This is a form of starvation.

In fact, decreasing calories will create more stress in an already starved body. And those fat-burning hormones will compensate and slow your metabolism even more.

A better approach is to nutrients IN those calories. However, this gives us another problem because the food you eat has very little nutrients and it takes a tremedous volume of food just to achieve your RDAs. An apple a day doesn’t keep your doctor away anymore its takes more like 10 apples a day.

Why?

Plants like vegetables and fruits do not make minerals, they only absorb minerals from the soil which help make vitamin complexes. Our soils have become very deficient, and our food is also deficient. What’s even more shocking is that most vitamins sold today are NOT even made from natural sources, instead they are made synthetically (petroleum). Don’t let any tell you that they are the same, because whole concentrates contain many synergistic parts compared to synthetics containing only one part as seen below.

You wouldn’t assume artificial is the same as natural flavoring. And when it comes to vitamins, even so called natural is usually contains only 10% natural ingredients. The safest approach is to look at the label and see if they list actual foods.

The same ingredients that synthetic vitamins are made from are very similar to synthetic food. These delicious junk foods that are so tempting are made from all sorts of chemicals take a look below.

One of the biggest reasons why people are getting fatter is they are starving nutrition wise. They think they are getting enough nutrients not only in their foods, but in their so called vitamins.

I have created a free quiz you can take to find how you rate nutritionally.
