Kale and Blueberry Shake Recipe

This drink is a nutrient enhancement on steroids. Just one cup of kale has over 30,000 IU of vitamin K.
Hello,
A recent patient, Georgette, turned me on to this most incredible shake. You have to try it and you will not even taste any kale! Here’s what you need to do to make it.
In a blender mix the following ingredients:
- 1 ½ cups of water
- ½ cup of cherry juice (get tart if you can find it)
- 2 cups of kale (cut the stems out and chop it up)
- 2 cups of frozen blueberries
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 tablespoons of flaxseed (grind in coffee grinder)
It’s best to drink within the first 30 minutes; however, if you refrigerate it, most of the nutrition will last over night.
Enjoy.

Confusion. I thought banana was a no-no for some body-types.

Violet: In the book, I recommend not to have a banana, however, in the upcoming version, I will allow this because I found it a VERY minor point and the great majority people still lose weight despite the small amount of sugar – it has lots of fiber, which buffers the sugar.

I drink this whenever I can find time to make it, and it is incredible good.
This is a great drink. The color is not so appealing though. I havent been adding the cherry juice and still find it tastes pretty good. Today is my third day on the program and I feel great!!
