Recommended Food Intake For Body Detox Phase: Part 4 : Animal Proteins

Since fat readily satisfies hunger and this program is low in fat, in order to avoid hunger you need to compensate by eating more food more frequently.
With this program, you are consuming lots of greens, low or little fat and minimal animal protein. Since fat readily satisfies hunger and this program is low in fat, in order to avoid hunger you need to compensate by eating more food more frequently. The most important action is to eat enough food to keep your calories up, as low calories will add stress and more weight gain. That is why it’s imperative that you eat between meals. In parts of this book, if you are a Liver type, I recommend only three meals per day. Nevertheless, when you are on this detox phase, you should eat between meals as well.
If you need to eat animal proteins, as mentioned above, the following are the acceptable and preferred proteins:
Fish (wild-caught) Grass-Fed Eggs
Tuna, salmon,
Organic Meats (free-range cod, etc. – baked, Buffalo, beef, organic) not deep fried ; lamb, etc.
sashimi/sushi (without rice)
Start with one egg per day (it could be hard-boiled) or a small piece of fish. The raw fish in sashimi and sushi is ideal.
Do not overeat animal proteins – eat just the right amount to satisfy your hunger. It’s better to eat frequent small amounts, since overeating will stress the liver and convert protein to fat. Fish is the best protein on this program, and raw proteins are more easily digested, causing less liver stress.
